The process of setting up a Pladot Mini Dairy

The Mini Dairy is an equipment and know how package that includes design, equipment manufacturing, assembly, know-how and training. Usually, the process of setting up a Mini Dairy is as follows:

 1)  We receive the filled in questionnaire from the customer or his agent.

             Metric   or   Pounds or   Spanish

 2)  Pladot prepares a proposal, including all processing equipment,
      transportation, assembly, operation and know-how.

 3)  After making all the necessary changes in the proposal according to the
customer’s needs, the customer orders the Mini Dairy and pays the down
      payment.

 4)  At this stage our engineer designs the layout of the Mini Dairy. If it is an
existing building, he specifies the changes needed to be carried out. If it is
a new building he designs the layout and the customer is responsible  to
construct the building accordingly. It takes 3–4 months for Pladot to
prepare the equipment, and during this time the customer may construct
      the dairy building.

 5)  During that time the customer will also send a team of 2-3 people to our
dairy site (at Kibbutz Ein Harod Meuhad in Israel) to take a training
course  in our local Mini dairy, and learn equipment operation and
product processing. It is an option, not a must. The customer pays for the
flight tickets and Pladot for accommodation, commuting, the training
      course etc.

 6)  Once the equipment and the building are ready, the customer pays the
balance payment, as agreed, and Pladot delivers the equipment

 7)  Once the equipment arrives to the Mini Dairy site, our team will come to
install it – a mission that takes few days.

 8)  When the equipment is assembled, we start operation and training the
local crew. We teach how to operate the equipment and process the
dairy  products. The training course takes 1– 3 weeks (depends on how
many types of products the dairy is planned to process). After that, the
local crew continues to work independently. We are available to answer
any question by the phone or E-mail.

 9)   A local company will provide after sale services and general maintenance
when needed. Pladot gives one-year warranty on the equipment.

10) The Mini Dairy is on the road for success.
